But in order for me to slow down and actually give consideration to a blog, it needs to offer essential or valuable information. I find that I don't have time to wander though musings, I need meat. So with the design blogs that I follow, there are often resources (that they've made or spent considerable time locating) and even opinion-based posts designed specifically to elicit conversation. These conversations are really what blogs are about. And as more people begin to chime in and give feedback, well...iron sharpens iron. No one expects a blog author to know it all...but what we do often look for is something engaging, compelling and thought provoking. Quality content is essential. I visit many regularly. But in order for me to slow down and actually give consideration to a blog, it needs to offer essential or valuable information.
